  • RHA 4 is indicated for injection into the deep dermis to superficial subcutaneous tissue for the correction of moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds.

These fillers work well across all skin types and patient ages. They can also be used with other facial fillers such as Juvederm and Beletero.

RHA Redensity – Filler for Lip Lines

RHA Redensity is the latest innovation from the RHA Collection. Georgia Dermatology Center is one of the first practices in the US to launch this new filler for the lips.

What is RHA Redensity?

Redensity is a medical grade, RHA filler. It is the latest in a line of non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatments. However, Redensity’s the first and only HA filler approved by the FDA for superficial and dermal injections. It treats moderate to severe perioral wrinkles.

RHA Redensity is a gel implant or dermal filler that is injected in specific areas of facial tissue to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It consists of the chemical sodium hyaluronic acid (NaHA), 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) and 0.3% of the drug lidocaine hydrochloride to reduce pain on injection.

What RHA Redensity Treats

Perioral rhytids are age-related facial wrinkles caused by a loss of elasticity in the skin around your mouth. Combined with the constant movement of your facial muscles, this causes even minor lip lines to deepen and become more pronounced.

Furthermore, collagen and elastin are essential to keeping skin healthy and plump. But, since we lose both proteins over time, our skin loses its youthful appearance and wrinkles form.

RHA Facial Fillers Before & After

She was concerned with the lines around her mouth and felt she had a tired look. She also had almost no lips.  She wanted a “pick me up” but was afraid of being “overdone” or having “duck lips”.
Dr. Bunin explained that she had loss of fat and bone, with flattening of the anterior cheek and elongation of the lower eyelid, and that by putting a little filler in the anterior cheek she would be more in balance and it would help lift the corners of the mouth so less filler was needed in that area. In addition, adding a very small amount of filler to her upper lip especially would give more balance and proportion.
Dr. Bunin used a combination of RHA fillers to do a very limited, conservative treatment to her anterior cheek in the malar split, fill the oral commissures and marionette lines, and a mild fill and shaping of the lip.  This provided a very natural looking, balanced result, with improvement of the undereye area, cheek, mouth and chin.
